International Flights
For international flight reservations, we recommend you contact your local travel consultants for the most competitive airfares. For international delegates, we suggest you allow yourself a day in which to relax after your flight before the Conference commences. Travellers flying westwards across the Pacific Ocean are reminded that you will lose a day by crossing the International Date Line.

Airport Transfers
A taxi ride from the domestic and international airport to your hotel or the expo should cost no more than AUD$30.00 and take no longer than 25 minutes, depending upon traffic conditions. Most taxis accept credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Club.
The Airport Express Bus operates every 20 minutes and will take you to all major city hotels for half the cost of a taxi. Some hotels offer a complimentary shuttle bus - check with your hotel when booking accommodation.

Insurance
International delegates are strongly advised to take out a comprehensive medical and travel insurance policy prior to travelling.
Visas and Insurance
All visitors need a valid passport and visa for entry into Australia.
Visas are generally issued free of charge from Australian Embassies and Consulates around the world (check with your local travel agent).
To facilitate your visa application, it is recommended you pre-register for the event and attach confirmation of registration with your application paperwork.
Venue
The SMPTE Exhibition and Conference is held in the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
