When Julian Shaw at 15 years old was forced by his parents to watch a play about a South African “Dame Edna” who was fighting against apartheid and Aids, he didn’t know it would be the catalyst in inspiring the next generation of film makers………
At just 23 years old, acclaimed film maker, Julian Shaw has been selected as a key note speaker at the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Conference and Exhibition at 9am on Friday July 24, 2009 in Sydney.
Charged with “Empowering the Next Generation”, Julian will share his amazing story, discuss how his Award winning Film, Darling was funded and filmed, and speak about his incredible journey and success.
The recent launch of his photo-novel, Modern Odysseus starring Colin Friels is ground breaking to say the least. As too is his acting and other body of work.
